Problems & Complaints: March 2009 Archives

Due to its hard clutch you may soon get a knee pain. Yes it is true and you will think why I am posting this when I already wrote a lot of good stuff for my Logan.

Actually for last more than one year I am struggling with its hard clutch (yes becuase its has a wire based clutch, which need more pressure to press effectively) and developed a regular knee pain due to that.

I sent mails, talked to Mahindra Head office, sent car to service center but nothing happened. Service center guys have very good excuse (reply) that "Sir your car has a wire based clutch, so its hard, we cant do much in this". May be it was my bad luck I decided to purchase Logan.

I talked to some freinds in EU countries and they said they have a haydraulic clutch in their Logan and have no such problem - WOW what a silly way to cost cutting in Indian Logan.

Finally I sent one more mail to M&R customer service, lets see what happens:

Hello,

I am fedup of its hard clutch, do you people have any solution to this. I have developed knee pain due o this. Please suggest any solution. Its urgent for me.

Your service center guys always repeat same excuse that its clutch is hard because its wire based. So my fault that I bought this car by having an impression that Logan in Romania have a hydraulic clutch. What a silly way of cost cutting.

Model: Logan DLS

Thanks,

I STILL SAY LOGAN IS A GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY CAR BUT WITHOUT A CLUTCH !!!
