The clutch problem I mentioned in my last post, now again bothering me, I dont know why this is happening with my car. Hard power steering can be managed but hard clutch creates lot of problem, becuase I need to drive car in city like delhi and gurgaon where a lot of gear shifting needed.
Anyways I decided to go for its fourth service today, this time to Bhasin Motors, Mathura Road service center (they promised me to give a 5000 Rs coupon also). I explaiined all problems to service advisor, including its hard clutch, tight power steering and RLH door noise (check third service problem requests) and I stayed there from 11 Am to 4:30 PM. Finally car got ready at 4:30 promising me that all problems are now solved and I got a bill of Rs. 1760 which includes:
Labour Charge - 1150
MI3000 Fuel Add - 577
Consumable Charges - 60
Also I got 5% discount of parts and 15% on labour due to free logan checkup week and a funny Rs 5000 free checkup etc coupons, which I can only redeem with paid services - one at a time.
Now car running better than earlier, pickup is improved a bit and engine noise is gone down but again clutch and steering problem is as it is. Yes the door problem is solved a bit as they changed door stricker under warranty.
Since I was about to complete 2 years so I opted for 1 year extended warranty, in which I got 15% discount, again due to logan checkup week at 7900-15% = 6715. But I tell you Scorpio warranty is available at just 9999 for 2 years.
Overall experience at Bhasin Service center was average as there were lot of problems like cleanliness, dirty waiting room and a very conjested overall area (Sterling is better in all of these).


I just wanted to let you know on a couple of dissapointing expériences I have with my Car. I bought a Logan( diesel) after being a Maruti Suzuki user for over 10 years. I took it because it had the name Mahindra on it.
While the cars fantastic the service levels are extremely poor. I get my car serviced at Sterling Motors Co. GP 11, HSIDC Sector 18, Gurgaon. They have practically spoilt the tyres of my car. Since I complained there have been multiple inspections of my car / numerous phone calls and the works, but nothing to resolve the issue.
My request to them for contact numbers/ e mail ID of superiors( especially Mr Goenka who used to regularly appear in the media spearheading the "With you Hamesha " campaign) did not meet with a response. I am e mailing this with the hope that finally someone informs him of how far removed is his expensive Campaign from the ground realities that I got to experience. I don't want to keep sending the vehicle back so that it can be checked, rechecked and rechecked.
I am just one of the many thousands of customers that they have, who has put in his hard earned money to buy your product. Even if they don't respond I don't think there is anything that I can do other then bear it, but I promise you that this is the last time I will ever buy a Mahindra product in my life.
I need access to Mr Anand Mahindra to update him how poor the service levels are at the ground. However every one in the company that I interact with has blocked me and refused to give me an email that will allow me to make contact.
A Very Dissapointed Customer
I am a Logan user for 11 months.
Due to a problem of dealer with allotment of DLS which we booked to someone else we had to compromise on DLE with some features which could be added to be comparable with DLS.
The dealer threw some extras to cover up teh difference as we had already done all the paperwork for financing and was in urgent need of teh vehicle.. Due to there inability to provide us teh vehicle ontime they di dprovide us their demo car which was a great gesture .. an I really appreciate their efforts to satisfy us.
So the experience of teh deal was not taht pleasent but at last we got a car to move aroudn teh town..
then the problems started as while fitting extra to make it comparable to DLS the front dash board had gap..., teh dvd screen was rattling the auto locking system does not really lock teh doors when you out teh keys in .. so its of no use as such for me.. a mother of 2 kids.. i still have to stretch my self to lock all 3 doors except driver's.
The quneching noise problem of all four doors.. yoiu feel like you are travelling in a hunted car which makes teh noise as you see in horror pictures.. you are embarrassed as your new car is making noise more than 4 year old hundai your friend owns.
Persistant complaint and 3 services has not resolved teh problem yet.. and its near to end of warrenty..
I was told that the R&D dept has found that this a common problem in Logan.. Usually teh manufacturer shoudl recall teh cars and fix the problem.. here they are applying step by step solution.. and i have to send my car for a whole day spending almost 200 rs as it atleast 50 km from my house and i have to pay 60 Rs toll ..
its a waste of money and time.. after giving them a call they had asked me to send an e-mail for which i have not received any reply..
I am very disappointed and will see if my complaints are not heard then i will go to next level.. any ideas what should i do?
BTW.. does anyone knows.. when you send teh car for service.. should not they give you a report even if it was Rs. 0 billing as the servicing is under warrenty?

I would suggest you to call Mahindra Renault customer care (1800-22-6006/ 09935066006) and lodge your complaint, get a complaint number or if you still feel unsatisified then file a case in consumer court for delivery of faulty product and ask for a replacement (I am sure you will win).
The most depressing problem with my logon is their rear view mirrors, i have changed it two times alredy in last one year they are so hard even small touch they get broken, Mahindra should do some thing about this as i bought the car more on Mahindra name...otherwise am happy with my Logan.
