About couple of days back I had received a SMS from Bhasin Motors about Boot Opener offer, which was "Get a push button boot opener for your Logan in just Rs.500 only - limited period offer". I contacted dealer he gave me booking for next week, so I went to dealer traveled about 45 km's (Gurgaon to Mathura Road) but what rubbish - they said your model (E II) needs a different one so come around a week later.
As per new booking date now today I got the boot opener fitted in my car, for which they took around 4 - 5 hours - which surprised me a lot.
Finally it's a push button boot opener with an actuator attached to it and connection given from stereo wiring (again surprised). But it's working, though they could make a matching switch to the existing rear window power lock (see picture).
Total I had to pay Rs.500 only (444.44 + 55.56 tax), which I find quite justified. I also heard that some dealers are taking benefit out of this offer by charging labour and tax extra.
I would suggest to others - It's worth getting a boot opener in Rs.500.
hi. where in mumbai can i avail of the boot opener offer? and also can someone guide me as i need to convert just the front windows in my car to power windows.
Boot opener offers is not available now, Earlier Mahindra people sent invitations to the Logan owners to get it done from their dealers (from where they actually purchased car). But as per talks with Mr. Shashank Varma (Manager - Quality) the offer is not valid now.
You may ask your dealer about it or write a mail or talk to Mr Shashank at varma.shashank@mahindra.com or 0253-6608488
He will also tell you about how to change manual windows to power window or ask dealer for same.
Aftermarket power window jobs are risky and may harm to your wiring harnesses.

Welcome to Logan family, here in India Logan is only 1.5year old, so not many options available for upgrade but still as I mentioned in my various posts you can try for tubes and spoiler etc.

The left Wind Screen Wiper - the present direction of swipe is throwing water to the right side of the window( driver side of the screen)

Again I would say there is no solution available right now from Mahindra Renault guys, but as per talks with one of their manager (see fist comment) they are working for it.
We have to manage with wrong wipers this season.
I am one year old owner of Logan car of Petrol Version. Is there any possibility of converting the car to CNG Version. I am confused whether this car can be converted to CNG or not. Nowhere i have got any approval for fitment of CNG kit to Logan Car???///
This car can be converted to CNG but I would suggest you to wait till MR guys comeout with Logan CNG version or wait till your warrantee is over.
Fiiting after market solutions can be a bit risky. Better you talk to MR guys or just give them a call.
